NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

 

            The Town Council of the Town of Ranburne is considering a proposal to grant to Ranburne Area Youth Sports, a private entity, certain funds held by the Town of Ranburne for the Ranburne Recreation Board.  The funds to be given represent monies raised, donated, and/or collected over time by the Ranburne Recreation Board as a result of or related to youth sports and recreational activities in and for the citizens of the Town of Ranburne.  Ranburne Area Youth Sports wishes to take over the operation of youth sports and recreational activities for the Town of Ranburne and pledges to use those funds for youth sports and recreational activities for the Town of Ranburne.  The proposed grant and donation of the funds will further facilitate and promote youth sports and activities conducted in the Town of Ranburne and conducted for its citizens.  The donation of the funds should assist Ranburne Youth Sports in improving and maintaining the facilities and increasing opportunities for sports and recreational activities for the citizens of Ranburne thereby serving the public good for everyone.  The Town Council will hold a public hearing to consider and vote on the proposal on the 30th day of March 2023 at 6:00 p.m. at the Ranburne Town Hall located at 21495 Main St, Ranburne, Alabama 36273.
